Our boy’s all grown up and he’s sharing the twisted true life tales that have shaped him and his point of view along the way. He has a current and relatable show and a charisma that connects him with his audiences. Ricky enjoys pushing the envelope, but with an insight and personality that makes you laugh and forget your two drink minimum as you go along for the ride. A seasoned performer who has appeared on stand- up comedy specials for HBO, NBC, and the AMC Channel. He was also featured on the nationally released DVD “Comedy Fiesta”. In 2008, 2010, and 2013 he was a featured performer at the Comedy Central “South Beach Comedy Festival”. Ricky is a familiar face on comedy club calendars throughout the country definitely a great time if he’s come to a club near you.

the country, entertaining crowds at The Comedy Store, The Parlor Live!, and the Improvs in
South Florida. With an original slant, John offers a charmingly skewed, yet hilarious perspective
on his experience as an Asian-American, his thoughts on pop culture, and whatever else is on his
Raised in the small town of Waco, Texas, John discovered that the local kids loved to beat up on Asians... (specifically John). So, he decided the best way to stay alive was to make people laugh. After high school, John made his parents laugh by moving to Los Angeles to pursue filmmaking.
While in Los Angeles, John wrote and “optioned” a script; in other words, he was broke. After finding his way (hitchhiking) to South Florida, John decided to tell jokes for a living; in other words, he was broke.
However, since his love to make a crowd laugh or to make a crowd feel super uncomfortable is greater than money, John can be found rummaging through the local comedy scene telling one joke at a time.
